Product Description: Vegan Hydrating Sunscreen Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Sun Essence is a chemical sunscreen made hypoallergenic with gentle ingredients for all skin types to use without the discomfort of white cast. It leaves skin hydrated with a glowy & dewy finish. You can replace a moisturizer with this if you have oily skin.

Why Does the Molecular Weight Matter? Varying Molecular Weights of Hyaluronic Acid Using Hyaluronic Acid of varying molecular weights can be tricky, as the bigger molecules that cannot penetrate the epidermis can block other molecules from penetrating as well, leaving a weird film of the product on the skin surface. This is often why some Hyaluronic Acid products don't absorb well.

Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid Oligo Hyaluronic Acid line only uses Hyaluronic Acid of a super low molecular weight (5,000da), which can penetrate even into the dermis, absorbing quickly and filling all layers of skin with moisture, leaving skin feeling hydrated and supple.

UV Protection + Hydration Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Sun Essence is uniquely formulated to hydrate the skin while providing optimal UVA & UVB protection. UVA and UVB are the root cause of premature aging. UVA penetrates deeply into our dermis and causes hyperpigmentation and sunspots, while UVB damages cells in our epidermis, causing irritation and sunburns.

(The two non-green ingredients are unrated but recognized as safe by Blanc Doux) One of the key benefits of this sun essence is moisturization - it includes low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, while other ingredients protect the surface from UV rays Also conscious of marine life, this particular sunblock avoids the usage of known harmful ingredients Oxybenzone (Benzophenone-3), Octinoxate, and Octylmethoxycinnamate in favor of other UV blocking agents.
